Comparison between grey and white resin tiles: What are the differences in price and quality?

Many people may not realize that the quality of resin tiles cannot be judged solely based on whether they have a white or gray base. To determine which is better between white-based and gray-based resin tiles, many factors need to be considered.

In general, the quality of resin tiles cannot be determined solely by their white or gray base. However, if one must compare the two, then white-based resin tiles are better, especially those that are light-colored, pure, and free of impurities.

The raw material is one of the important factors that affect the quality of resin tiles. The raw material for resin tiles is white, and if it is gray, it is likely made from recycled materials. Resin tiles made from new materials are relatively more expensive but of very good quality. Another type is resin tiles filled with calcium powder, which are relatively cheaper. Additionally, resin tiles with impurities made from recycled powder have lower prices, indicating lower quality.

Therefore, we cannot simply judge the quality of resin tiles based on whether they have a white or gray base. Below are the weights of normal resin tiles made from new materials:

– Resin tiles with a thickness of 2.0 millimeters weigh between 4.0 to 4.3 kilograms per square meter.

– Resin tiles with a thickness of 2.5 millimeters weigh between 5.0 to 5.3 kilograms per square meter.

– Resin tiles with a thickness of 3.0 millimeters weigh between 6.0 to 6.3 kilograms per square meter.
