The structure and performance of PVC hollow roof tiles

PVC hollow roof tiles are a widely used new type of modern building roofing material, and their main raw material is polyvinyl chloride (PVC). This type of roof tile adopts a unique hollow multi-frame structure design. The interior is hollow, ingeniously utilizing air as an insulating medium to effectively block the transfer of cold and heat, achieving excellent thermal insulation and heat preservation effects.

The dense reinforcing rib system inside the PVC hollow roof tile not only ensures the product’s good rigidity and bending strength, enabling the roof tile to withstand greater roof loads, but also reduces the requirements for the roof support structure. Meanwhile, its edges and seams are equipped with advanced waterproof grooves and buckle designs to ensure excellent waterproof performance and prevent the problem of rainwater leakage.

In addition, PVC material itself has excellent weather resistance, anti-aging, and certain flame-retardant properties. Combined with the surface treatment technology of the ASA weather-resistant layer, PVC hollow roof tiles can maintain stable performance and color in long-term outdoor environments, with a long service life.
